The backgound music is an MP3 clip of the opening of the second movement of Shostakovich's String Quartet No.3 in F major, Op. 73 played by the Fitzwilliam String Quartet. This work will be played for us by the Pacifica Quartet at the first concert of our 2010/2011 season.
Concert Locations
All Saturday concerts are held at Lincoln Middle School, located just West of Teall Avenue at 1613 James Street, Syracuse.
If coming from Route 690, exit at Teall Avenue. Follow Teall Avenue north to James Street. At James Street, turn left. Go past Hampton Rd. on your right. The entrance to the Lincoln Middle School parking lot is the next right. The school is set back a little way from James St. The driveway leads to a large parking area. There is additional parking at the rear of the building.
The entrance to the building faces the parking lot. The auditorium is on the ground floor. The facility is handicapped-accessible.
Concert number 4, on Tuesday, January 25, 2011, will be held at Pebble Hill Presbyterian Church (see second map below).
