2012 SFCM Youth Chamber Music Competition
Each year, student ensembles from across Central New York are invited to audition for our Youth Chamber Music Competition in hopes of being selected to perform at the beginning of one of SFCM's subscription concerts. The 2012 competition took place on April 3rd, with Daniel Hege and Sara Mastrangelo judging nine competing groups. The winning ensemble was the Tanka Quintet, a Rochester group coached by George Taylor of the Eastman School of Music.
